All of our yoga classes are open-level. We provide yoga for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Our instructors provide modifications, use of props, and guidance to ensure a safe, enriching experience for everyone.
Yoga is Spiritual & Fortifying
Yoga classes at Sweet Water emphasize the spiritual and historical roots of this 5000+ year old practice. While the classes focus heavily on Asana (postures), our goal is provide a container for you to create awareness, peace, compassion, discipline, love, equanimity, and balance. Our classes are rooted in the 8 Limbs of Yoga and Yogic Philosophy. Classes include mantra, mudras, asana, pranayama, and meditation. Everything is sequenced with intention and all is an invitation — your agency and empowerment are at the center.

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa (pron. vuh·nyaa·suh) is a dynamic practice that links breath with movement, flowing seamlessly from one pose to the next. This style builds strength, flexibility, and endurance while cultivating mindfulness, as each movement aligns with the rhythm of your breath for a balanced, energizing experience.

Slow Flow Vinyasa
Slow Flow Vinyasa is a gentle form of Vinyasa yoga that emphasizes breath, alignment, and mindful movement. Great for beginners and those recovering from injury, this class offers a slower pace to gently increase range of motion, build strength, and reduce stress.
Slow Flow doesn’t mean “easier.” You can still expect to break a sweat—but with more intention and fewer rushed transitions.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is a gentle, calming practice focused on relaxation and deep rest. Using props to support the body, poses are held for extended periods, allowing for release of tension, stress relief, and emotional balance. This practice nurtures inner peace and promotes physical healing.
